INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY INDORE Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) and IIT Mandi started functioning from July 2009. Its blue colour emblem has wavy edges resembling a flower, inside of which an open book placed below a rising sun is kept. The border has its name written in Devanagari and English. Its motto is 'ज्ञानम् सर्वजनहिताय' in Sanskrit meaning 'Knowledge is for the Well-being of Everyone' is placed below the circle at the bottom on a banner.
