On the right, its name is written in Devanagari and English, along with its tagline ‘Continuing Tradition’ is written. The emblem is simple, elegant and interesting.

DEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONER HANDLOOMS The emblem of the Development Commissioner Handlooms (DCH) has a white circle with blue outline housing a national tricolour weave of eight threads surrounded by ‘India’ in orange  ‘Handloom’ in green. The circle is ensconced by a tricolour geometric lotus pattern. The emblem depicts both the handloom textiles and the intricate weave and design of handloom fabrics.
