The emblem of the university has a caduceus the Staff of Hermes entwined by two serpents, surmounted by wings, representing the medical profession supported by an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom. The staff is surrounded by a circular line around which the name of the university is written. At the bottom, the year of establishment is written.
