IIS The International College for Girls (ICG), an institution for women education, was founded in the year 1995 as an affiliated college to the University of Rajasthan. Started with fifty six girls and seven members of staff, it became a postgraduate college in 1999. ICG was conferred the status of autonomous college by the UGC for a period of six years from 2007-08. It was declared as a ‘Deemed to be a University’ by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The emblem of the university has a pictorial and a wordmark in blue colour. The pictorial has a globe surrounded by eight lotus petals with heads to make them look like eight persons holding hands. Its name is written in sans serif bold and and its status in sans serif bold and condensed.
