NATIONAL RESEARCH CENTRE ON POMEGRANATE The seal of National Research Centre on Pomegranate (NRCP) is an oval housing a picture of a pomegranate with a stem and a pair of leaves in a white background supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘औषधी रसपरीपूर्णम् दाडीमम सु-वर्णम’ meaning ‘Pomegranate is Full of Medicinal Juice and has a Good Colour’ on a green background. These are ensconced by an oval border with orange outlines bearing the name and place of the Centre in Devanagari and English.  The colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

The Institute was registered as a society in November 2006 and in January 2014, it was converted to a University by the Government of Odisha. The Institute is fully owned by the Government of Odisha. The emblem of the university has a pair of concentric circular lines in orange housing a six petalled flower in green colour supported by its acronym and place. The orange concentric circles symbolise creative energy, potential, self realisation, oneness, equality, connection, simplicity and completeness and the flower with six petals in green denotes peace, connection, nourishment, joy, contentment and support.

ADESH UNIVERSITY Adesh University, Bathinda, the flagship academic and research endeavour of Adesh Foundation, a pioneer in health care, medical and technical education came into existence in the State of Punjab in July 2012 by Act No. 6 of 2012 of Government of Punjab, notified under Punjab Government Gazette (Extraordinary) dated July 10, 2012 under Punjab Private Universities policy 2010. The logo of the university has a pictorial and a word mark in orange and green. The letter ‘A’ is placed in an orange circle in a stylised form and its motto in Punjabi “॥ਆਦੇਸੁ ਤਿਸੈ ਆਦੇਸੁ॥’ (Japu (M 1) 30:5 - Guru Granth Sahib: Part 7 p. 3) meaning ‘I bow to Him, I Humbly Bow’ is written above the emblem. Its name is written below the pictorial in orange and green in bold serif capital font.

SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH STATE UNIVERSITY The Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University (SBSSU) was established by the Government of Punjab in 1995 with the name Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering and Technology as a tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh. In the academic year 2011-12, it was upgraded to the status of a technical campus and rechristened as Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur. By an Act of the State Government of Punjab, it was declared as a university on April 1, 2021. SHRI MATA VAISHNO DEVI UNIVERSITY Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) has been established under The Jammu and Kashmir Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Act, 1999, of the Jammu and Kashmir as an autonomous, technical and fully residential university. It is funded by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. The design of the logo looks like a lotus, a symbol of regeneration or a flame. It also looks like 'ॐ' or ‘Om’, the supreme word. The three green bars represent three holy peaks of Trikuta Hills and the three 'pindies' in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. The sun, the giver of light, warmth, time, direction, life force, energy, power, radiance and enlightenment have been surrounded by radiating rays going out to nine planets of the solar system. The English version of ‘विज्ञानं ब्रह्म’, the motto is ‘God is Science’. Brahma has been defined as something or someone who nourishes the universe and makes it grow.
