JOY UNIVERSITY (JU) The emblem of Joy University (JU) is a monogram of brown and grey of its initials ‘JU’ supported by its name in grey serif capitals. The motto of the college ‘Semper Paratus’ meaning ‘Always Ready’, (the motto of the United States Coast Guard (USCG)), representing the commitment to readiness for any mission. The colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition; and grey represents strength, longevity, unemotional, detached, balanced and impartial, power, influence, wisdom and intelligence.

JAGANNATH UNIVERSITY The emblem of Jagannath University (JU) has a monogram in orange colour created using ‘JU’ and its name and place are written on its right in slab serif typeface in black. The emblem is attractive, strong and direct. The colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour black symbolises mystery, power, elegance and sophistication.
