JIWAJI UNIVERSITY The red circular emblem of Jiwaji University (JU) has an open book supported by a thumba - string instrument is ensconced by a white border with red outlines, on which its name and motto in Sanskrit are inscribed. The motto ‘विद्यया प्राप्यते तेजः’ means ‘Aura is Obtained by Education’. All these are placed inside a brightly glowing sun. The book symbolises knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the thumba represents fine arts, culture and art education and the sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity.  

JAYPEE UNIVERSITY The insignia of Jaypee University (JU) has a light blue colour circle on which a globe is placed on which a torch is placed. Around the blue circle the name of the institute is written. All these are supported by its acronym ‘JU’ written in blue colour bold experimental font, wherein the dots above ‘j’ is depicted as human head. At the bottom the motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्या तत्व ज्योतिसमः’ meaning ‘The Element of Knowledge is Equal to Light’ is written. The globe symbolises education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness and the torch is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power. 

JAGANNATH UNIVERSITY The emblem of Jagannath University (JU) has a monogram in orange colour created using ‘JU’ and its name and place are written on its right in slab serif typeface in black. The emblem is attractive, strong and direct. The colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour black symbolises mystery, power, elegance and sophistication. 

JEPPIAAR UNIVERSITY Jeppiaar University is a State Private University in Sholinganallur, Chennai established through the Tamilnadu Government Gazette Notification No. 420 dated August 8, 2022. The seal of the university is a shield created using its acronym with a portrait of the managing trust’s founder. The left top corner of the olive shield has a cutout in yellow colour. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery.
