PRATHYUSHA ENGINEERING COLLEGE (PEC) The circular emblem of Prathyusha Engineering College (PEC) features a rising sun above water ensconced by a red circular border bearing the rays of sun; partial gearwheel and its initials ‘PEC’. The assemblage is circumscribed by the name of the college. The rising sun refers to life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity and the gearwheel refers to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.

PRIYADARSHINI ENGINEERING COLLEGE (PEC) The emblem of Priyadarshini Engineering College (PEC) features a gearwheel housing the motifs of an electrical transmission tower, a robot, a computer and a structure of an atom representing the different branches of engineering. The gearwheel is circumscribed by its name and supported by a banner with the name of the place of college.

PAAVAI ENGINEERING COLLEGE (PEC) The predominantly blue colour seal of Paavai Engineering College (PEC) features a blue circle with a temple gopuram crested by its initials ‘PEC and supported by the sacred Sri Chakra and Panchajanya symbolising divine blessings and benevolence. This blue circle is placed on a white circle ensconced by a gearwheel. The motifs of a building, a satellite dish antenna, a computer, an atomic structure; a transmission tower and an open book supporting a traditional lamp are placed on the white circle. Below the gearwheel, on a banner the motto of the college ‘Prosper Excel Conquer’ is written. PUNJAB ENGINEERING COLLEGE Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University) (PEC) started in Lahore as Mugalpura Engineering College in 1921. The institute became Deemed University in 2003 through a MHRD notification and rechristened as PEC University of Technology in 2009. The emblem of the university is its acronym created using yellow sans serif bold font. The top horizontal stroke of ‘E’ is tilting upwards and is in red colour indicating inquisitiveness and ready to go higher. Below the acronym its motto ‘Explore Innovation Excel’ is written in red. The emblem is trendy, bold and attractive. The colour yellow symbolises happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

PEC LIMITED

PEC LIMITED The PEC Limited, the erstwhile Project and Equipment Corporation of India was carved out of the STC in 1971-72 to take over the canalized business of STC’s railway equipment division, to diversify into turn-key projects especially outside India and to aid assist in promotion of exports of Indian engineering equipment. With effect from May 23, 1990, PEC became a subsidiary of the then newly formed holding company, Bharat Business International Ltd. Thereafter, from March 27, 1991, PEC became an independent company directly owned by Government of India. Its logo has a blue coloured line drawing of globe within a blue round cornered rectangle supported by yellow markings of heavy duty equipment and topped by its name in Devanagari acronym and at the bottom in English.
