SRI SATHYA SAI UNIVERSITY FOR HUMAN EXCELLENCE Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) was formed vide Karnataka Act No. 17 of 2018. Its motto is ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ – pursuit of perfection in every action as taught by the Bhagavad Gīta, which aims at encouraging young men and women to excel both in social and spiritual lives. The emblem of the university is the vibrant colours and tones of yellow, orange and red has a circle ensconced in ten overlapping and intersecting hexagons and further supported by six three layered petals of lotus. Each petal of the lotus holds a religious symbol. This arrangement is circumscribed by its name on top and by its motto in Sanskrit at the bottom. Hexagon is one of the strongest shapes and structures, which nature has conceived. This shape stirs intuition, cooperation, connection sympathy, communion and reciprocal actions.
