PRADHAN MANTRI FASAL BIMA YOJANA The Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), also known as Crop Insurance Scheme, is an integrated IT solution and a web-based ecosystem to speed up service delivery, unify fragmented databases, achieve a single view of data, and eliminate manual processes. Crop insurance portal has enabled the digitization of notification of areas, crops, schemes for enabling information access to multiple stakeholders, thereby facilitating ease of access to the farmers in availing crop insurance services. The logo of PMFBY has a pair of hands like structures enclosing the crop within, which is a depiction of the sole motto of the scheme i.e., to insure crops. The crop has been shown in the shade of green whereas the hands are in gradients of red and yellow.
