NETAJI SUBHAS NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SPORTS - PATIALA
NETAJI SUBHAS NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SPORTS - PATIALA The emblem of Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports - Patiala (NSNIS) has the foot of Hermes, the great messenger of the gods in Greek mythology, who is one of the twelve gods of Mount Olympus. Hermes famously wore winged sandals so he could fly between the heavens, the earth and the underworld. This is supported by a pair of laurels representing ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication and crested by the National Emblem. At the bottom on a brown banner the name of the institution is written.
