ADAMAS UNIVERSITY The Adamas University has been established by Sachis Kiran Roy Memorial Trust (SKRMT) (under the West Bengal Act IV of 2014) passed by The West Bengal Legislature. The RICE Group is the parent organisation of SKRMT. The insignia of the university has a shield and banner predominantly in blue colour. The shield carries the motifs of an open book, five persons holding their hands together, a hand holding a heart and a pigeon. Above these ‘Adamas’ is written. The banner is inscribed with ‘University’. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green symbolises agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
