NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ARUNACHAL PRADESH The National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh (NITAP) was inaugurated on August 18, 2010 as a member of a group of ten new NITs. The emblem of NIT Arunachal Pradesh depicts the value and aim of education and at the same time glorifies the natural beauty of Arunachal Pradesh. In the logo rising sun reminds us of the fact that Arunachal Pradesh is known as ‘land of rising sun’ in India. Rising sun signifies that this institute will produce new emerging talents. Open book symbolises academic betterment of students with the help of books and produce assets for the country. Two figures in the book indicate that the institute will motivate students to rise as high as the sky and come out with flying colours. A pen tip in the sun signifies the importance of education.
