NATIONAL ACCREDITATION AND ASSESSMENT COUNCIL The emblem of the National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) has a red circle housing the motifs of a map of Bharat the India holding a black mortarboard hat on which ‘Q’ for quality is written. Its acronym ‘NAAC’ and a dot of where it is located. These are ensconced by a white circular border with a red outline, which bears its name. At the bottom, on a white banner its motto ‘Excellence Credibility Relevance’ is written in black. The mortarboard or Oxford hat refers to the educational institutions the NAAC assess for quality; the map of India about geographical scope and the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

VIDYAVARDHAKA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

VIDYAVARDHAKA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS) was established in 1949 by Late Sahukar Channaiah and Late K. Puttaswamy to impart quality education to all sections of the society. There are ten educational institutions starting from nursery to engineering college under the aegis of VVS. Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) is one of the prestigious engineering colleges in Karnataka. Established in 1997. VVCE is an autonomous institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. Its emblem is a gearwheel with sixteen teeth in a dark violet colour encompassing a yellow border and a light green circle. The border carries the name of the college. The light green circle has a magnetic circuit, a manufacturing plant, a satellite, a dish antenna and a transmission tower, a tree, a bridge, a computer and a flask. This covers all the major areas of learning in the college. Its acronym is placed below the emblem.

NITTE (DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY)

NITTE (DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY) Nitte (Deemed-to-be University) has its roots in a group of Institutions established by the Nitte Education Trust, which was established in 1979 by Justice KS Hegde, Supreme Court Judge and Speaker of Lok Sabha, with the mission of empowering rural youth through quality education and healthcare. The University offers a total of 74 programs in the disciplines of medicine, allied health sciences, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy, speech and audiology, biological sciences, media & communication and Architecture. Its logo in blue colour has a monogram using ‘N’ on a shield and slicing it along the diagonal central line and its name is placed alongside.

SARADA VILAS COLLEGE

SARADA VILAS COLLEGE Sarada Vilas College, located in the heart of the city of Mysore, was established in the year 1945 as an Intermediate college. Seven years later, it was upgraded as a Degree college. The college, affiliated to the University of Mysore. Its oval shaped emblem has Goddess Saraswathi ensconced in a border on which ‘SARDA VILAS COLLEGE’ and ‘Education Kindles Knowledge’ are written in red colour. It has a pair of lamps as separators.
