SHRI RAMASAMY MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY The circular emblem of Shri Ramasamy Memorial University (SRMU), has a motif of a fully grown tree in lemon ginger colour placed on a circle and ensconced by a thatch green border with its name inscribed on it in Lisbon brown. The tree symbolises strength, individuality and expression, calmness, growth and the interconnectedness of everything. The colour Lisbon brown symbolise earthiness and memory; the colour thatch green denotes wealth and the lemon ginger colour denotes sun, heat and refreshment. 

SHRI RAMSWAROOP MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY  Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) was established by Uttar Pradesh State Government ACT 1 of 2012. SRMU is built upon the excellence of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges (SRMGPC) in engineering and business education. Its emblem has a red pot of nectar spewing out from a red vessel which has its motto ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’ meaning ‘Knowledge enjoys Immortality’ taken from Ishopanishad Verse 11, written on and supported by the blue globe with latitudinal and longitudinal lines. The spewed nectar falls as drops for the stakeholders benefit. These are ensconced in a border on which its name and the State is inscribed. The Amrit or nectar is the source of immortality, meaning the university offers the nectar of knowledge, which is the source of immortality.

SWAMI RAMA HIMALAYAN UNIVERSITY Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), a private university in Dehradun is named after the Indian yogi Swami Rama and became an university in February 2013. The emblem of the university is in the form of a shield in shades of blue, has the motifs of a traditional lamp supported by a lotus on water and aided by a pair of swans. Its motto in ‘Love Serve Remember’ is placed below the lotus above its motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Actions’  is placed. The top portion of the shield in dark blue background bears its name and a facade of a building with four pillars supported by an open book.
