HYDERABAD METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) was formed by an Act of the then combined state of Andhra Pradesh Government in the year 2008, with an area of 7,257 square kilometre under its purview. Its logo has ‘HMDA’ written in lowercase larger x-height in black and round cornered sans serif letters in black with its motto ‘Growing Global’ at the bottom. Behind this on its right a tricolour of block with cyan, light blue and fresh green quadrants with a silhouette of Charminar, symbolising building a city is placed.
