G.B. PANT UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY The circular seal of G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) has has an open book housed in a gear wheel supported by a two pan beam balance at the bottom and a cattle on the left and a microscope on the right, Staff of Caduceus with a serpent below, surmounted by a plough and its year of establishment at the bottom. All these motifs are ensconced by a light border bearing its name and place in English and a light yellow border with its name and place in Devanagari and supported by a pair of crests of cereal. The motifs represent agriculture and agricultural technology and the colour green denotes agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
