COMMISSION OF RAILWAY SAFETY The circular seal of Commission of Railway Safety (CRS) has a big tree with multiple branches and foliage is placed in a circle supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘संरक्षा लोक हिताये’ meaning ‘Protecting Public Interest’. This circle is ensconced by a circular border with outlines, on which the name of the Commission is inscribed. Below the seal, on a banner, ‘Ministry of Civil Aviation’ is written in Devanagari and English. The big tree with branches represents the Indian railway network.
