NORTH EAST FRONTIER TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY The North East Frontier Technical University (NEFTU) is situated in Aalo of West Siang, a hilly and green district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is a State Private University established by the Act 11 of 2014 of the State Legislature, Arunachal Pradesh. NEFTU is sponsored by the Automobile Society of India, a registered charitable trust. The emblem of the university has a map of the State of Arunachal Pradesh placed inside a red colour gear. These are ensconced by a circular border in purple which carries the name of the university and the State. The circle is topped by a banner at the bottom which carries the partial name of the university. The gear wheel denotes interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure and the colour purple symbolises royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition.
