MAHARISHI UNIVERSITY OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY The circular emblem of Maharishi University of Management and Technology (MUMT) has a green tree depicted with branches, leaves and fruits crested by its motto in Sanskrit ‘ऋषि देवता छन्दरा संहिता’ meaning ‘Sages, Deities and Chhandra Samhita’ on banners above and below. These are ensconced by a white border with blue outline on which its name is inscribed with a pair of lotuses. The tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity and the lotus symbolises purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.
