SARDAR PATEL UNIVERSITY OF POLICE, SECURITY AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE  Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice (SPUPSCJ), Jodhpur was established by an ordinance of the Government of Rajasthan on August 27, 2012. The circular emblem of the university has a shield painted with abstract strokes of national tricolours with a white, orange and green star. The shield is crested by its acronym ‘SPUP’ and supported by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’. These are ensconced by a white circular border with blue outer lines. This border carries the name of the university and its year of establishment. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery and the star symbolises perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal. The star also means mutual recognition of wellbeing and to recognize good deeds and charity.

ALIAH UNIVERSITY

ALIAH UNIVERSITY Aliah University is a State University under the Department of Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education, Government of West Bengal – came into existence through the Aliah University Act (Act XXVII of 2007) passed by the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. Through the Aliah University Act 2007, Section 3 (3), it has been conferred the status of a minority educational institution. The emblem of the university has an open book supporting a palm tree and crescent moon placed in a circle with a green outline. It is ensconced in a border with its name inscribed in Arabic,Bengali and English. There is a decorative border circumscribing this and below this its motto is written in Arabic ‘النهوض بالتعليم والثقافة’ meaning ‘Advancement of Education and Culture’ on a white banner. The English version of the motto is written below the banner. The moon and the palm tree symbolise the land of Islam and the open book symbolises knowledge, wisdom and education.

ALIPURDUAR UNIVERSITY

ALIPURDUAR UNIVERSITY Alipurduar University is the first state aided University of Alipurduar district which was inaugurated by Smt. Mamata Banerjee. The emblem of the university has a circle with yellow and cyan background carrying a plaque with an open book symbolising education, knowledge and wisdom and a rhinoceros representing the local ecology. It is supported by laurels of paddy crowns symbolising victory, achievement and success and topped by its name in Bengali and at the bottom with the year of its establishment. This circle with motifs is ensconced by a green toned border carrying the university’s name in English and Devanagari separated by twigs of tea leaves. Below the emblem on a green colour banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ meaning ‘That which Liberates is Knowledge’ which forms part of a verse appearing in Vishnu-Purana (1.19.41) and ‘Honesty Wisdom Creativity’ are written.

ALLIANCE UNIVERSITY Alliance University is a Private University established in Karnataka State by Act No.34 of 2010 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. Its circular emblem in the colours of dark blue and brown has a shield holding the images of spider’s web symbolising effort, audacity and determination; a tree symbolising growth, eco friendly and nurturing; three pillars with horses symbolising spiritual power, independence, freedom, nobleness, endurance, confidence, triumph, heroism and competition and the dome of the university. In the centre in another smaller shield the acronym of the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानस्य शक्तिः  बुद्धैः प्रकाशम्’ meaning ‘The Strength of Knowledge is the Light to Wisdom’ is placed below the shield. All these are placed within a circular border bearing its name.

RAJASTHAN UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) was established under the Act of State Government The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Act, 2005 (Act No. 1 of 2005) on February 25, 2005. The emblem of the university is circular and made up of elements in yellow, orange and red shades. At its centre is the map of Rajasthan State with a staff encircled with a pair of serpents and wings symbolising Greek and Roman Gods of health called Hermes and Mercury adapted as a symbol of modern medical science along with the year of its establishment ‘2006 A.D’. The emblem of the university has a globe superimposed by a flame of a lamp above an open with its pages written on with its name in Devanagari, supported by the name of the place in Devanagari and a green colour house. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या ददाति विनयम्’ (Narayana Pandita, 0.6, Hitopadesha) meaning ‘Knowledge Makes One Humble’ is inscribed on the green house. The emblem in the tones between orange to red has a traditional arch of Rajasthani architecture painted with strokes of yellow and red tones and has its acronym in white at its left bottom. A yellow colour banner bearing its name in Devanagari and English is on its bottom. RAJASTHAN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is located in Kota in the state of Rajasthan. It was established in 2006 by the Government of Rajasthan in the campus of University College of Engineering, Kota. The emblem of the university uses orange and blue colours predominantly in a circular shape. The emblem has a map of the State of Rajasthan with its acronym on top of it supporting a bright flame of a lamp and surrounded by a diagram of an atom. These are ensconced by an orange and blue border which carries its name in Devanagari and English. SANSKRITI UNIVERSITY Sanskriti University is established vide the UGC Public Notice Serial No.22; Uttar Pradesh Government letter Authorising Operationalisation of University, 2016-17. The emblem of the university has a dark blue rectangle with gold border lines with a motif of a facade of a three pillared entrance supported by its name written in serif font and its motto ‘For Excellence in Life’ placed at the bottom. ATLAS SKILLTECH UNIVERSITY Atlas SkillTech University (ASU) is India’s first new age urban multidisciplinary university. The university was established under the Government of Maharashtra Act No. XV of 2021 dated July 16, 2021 and recognised under Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 Atlas offers three streams of courses in design and innovation, management and entrepreneurship and digital technology. The emblem of the university in the shades of blue has a pictorial and a wordmark. The pictorial has a cyan cube with dark blue side and the letter ‘A’ depicted as a triangle is placed on one side. Its shadow is falling below and on its right its name is written in three lines in dark blue and cyan. The ‘A’s are written as triangles. ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE HINDI VISHWAVIDYALAYA Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (ABVHV) was established on December 19, 2011 by Madhya Pradesh Act No. 34, 2011. The orange and red emblem of the university has a monogram using its Devanagari acronym in white colour placed on a red circle and circumscribed by a snake. ASSAM WOMEN'S UNIVERSITY The Assam Women’s University (AWU) has been established by an act XXII of 2013 of State Legislature of Assam as a State University. NATIONAL DAIRY RESEARCH INSTITUTE  The National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) is a national level institute for breeding technology, feeding technology, fodder demonstration, animal health care and animal management but dissemination of the technical know-how. In 1964 eastern regional station was set up at Kalyani in West Bengal. In 1970, NDRI was brought under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The institute achieved the status of Deemed University from 1989. The Madhya Pradesh Government started the university on August 19, 2008. RAICHUR UNIVERSITY Raichur University is located in Raichur, Karnataka. The university was established in 2021 by an Act of Karnataka State near Yeragera village. Earlier it was a postgraduate centre of Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi in a mountainous and forest locale. It caters to the educational requirements of Yadgiri and Raichur. Its emblem has a shield with an orange elephant in a red background, with flowy lines of blue and green supporting and a border on top as a rampart. Below the shield its motto in Kannada ‘ವಿದ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಅಮರತ್ವವು’ meaning ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’ is written. The green blue colours represent the two rivers of Krishna and Bhima; the ramparts represent the Kalaburagi Fort and the elephant represents the historical past and it signifies power, strength, unity and wisdom. RAIGANJ UNIVERSITY Raiganj University was formed through the Raiganj University Act (West Bengal Act XXVI of 2014) on February 3, 2015. It is located in Raiganj, West Bengal. Its square emblem has a traditional Bengali lamp with flame in the middle of a square whose border is divided into four blocks. The top block has its name written in red colour Devanagari and the bottom block has its motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (1.3.28, Bṛhadāraṇyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘Lead Me from Darkness to Light’ is written. Both the side blocks each have three green swastikas. The main vision and mission of the institute is ‘Health, Harmony and Happiness for all through Yoga’. The emblem of the university is a person seated in a yoga posture in reddish brown colour in a backdrop of rising sun. It is surmounted by its name in Devanagari and supported by its acronym at the bottom. On the yoga motif its motto ‘समत्वं योग उच्यते’ (Shloka 48, Chapter 2, Srimad Bhagavad Gita) is written in Sanskrit. It means ‘Evenness of Mind is the Yoga’

MGM INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCES MGM Institute of Health Sciences (MGMIHS) was conferred Deemed to be University status under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India on August 30, 2006. MGMIHS consists of MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai and MGM Medical College, Aurangabad which were established in the year 1989 and 1990 respectively. Its emblem is a circular motif of Mahatma Gandhi being led by a young lad holding his walking stick, this is symbolic of the necessity and the requirement of young people to train and assume leadership roles in their chosen fields in an exemplary manner.

ASSAM SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) was established by the Government of Assam under Assam Science and Technology University Act 2009. It aims to provide education and research in the fields of science and technology. The emblem of the university has an umbrella or parasol, a sacred Buddhist symbol representing the dome of the sky, which casts a protective shadow onto the earth bearing the name of the university in Assamese. Below this its acronym ‘ASTU’ in blue and red supported by an atom and gear is placed. Its year of establishment is written below the acronym and at the bottom, its motto in Sanskrit ‘विज्ञानमेव प्रगतिः प्रयुक्त्या कल्याणमश्नुते’ meaning ‘Science itself is the Progress that Brings Welfare through Application’ is written.
