ICAR-INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SUGARCANE RESEARCH The purple and green emblem of ICAR-Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research (IISR) is a wordmark resembling a sugarcane with its vegetative nodes, stalks and sheath-like leaves. The ‘i’s are topped with a gear wheel and  red circle symbolising industrial production and productivity. The letters ‘S’ and ‘R’ are written like a pen to denote research and reporting. Below the wordmark, the name of the Institute is written in Devanagari.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SPICES RESEARCH The black and green emblem of ICAR’s Indian Institute of Spices Research (ISRI) is a wordmark of its acronym in sans serif bold text, in which the letter ‘s’ is treated like a pod od black pepper representing one of the major spices. The dots of ‘i’s and counter loop of ‘r’ are treated as dried black pepper. The emblem is bold, direct and attractive.
