NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF EDUCATIONAL PLANNING AND ADMINISTRATION The National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), a Deemed to be University since August 2006, was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The emblem of the institute in reddish brown has a pair of hands holding an open book and a lamp. These are ensconced by a circular border with red outlines bearing its name. Above the border its name is written in Devanagari. The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and the open book denotes education, knowledge and wisdom. The institute plays the role of the mentor in the endeavour of educational planning and administration. 

REGIONAL CENTRE FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY

REGIONAL CENTRE FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), an 'Institution of National Importance' providing education, training and research is established by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The logo of RCB has its acronym written using extra bold sans serif font, without vertical strokes in dark grey, in which ‘C’ is treated as growth of fungal, denoting biotechnology in brown. Below this its name is written in Devanagari and at the bottom dark grey in English.

DELHI PUBLIC LIBRARY

DELHI PUBLIC LIBRARY Delhi Public Library (DPL) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Culture  and governed by Delhi Library Board, fully financed by the Government of India. Delhi Public Library was started as a UNESCO project in the year 1951 by the Govt. of India. It was inaugurated by first Prime Minister of India Honourable Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, started as small unitary library in old Delhi is slocated opposite Old Delhi Railway Station. It has since developed into a premier public library system in the metropolitan city of Delhi.  DPL is functioning under the administrative control of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Its Headquarter is located in Chandni Chowk opposite Old Delhi railway station. PALLAVA DYNASTY PALLAVA DYNASTY The Pallava Dynasty existed from 275 CE to 897 CE, ruling a significant portion of the Deccan, also known as Thondaimandalam. The dynasty rose to prominence after the downfall of the Satavahana dynasty, with whom they had formerly served as feudatories. The Pallavas became a major South Indian power during the reign of Mahendravarman I (600–630 CE) and Narasimhavarman I (630–668 CE) and dominated the southern Telugu Region and the northern parts of the Tamil region for about 600 years, until the end of the 9th century. All through their reign, they remained in constant conflict with both the Chalukyas of Badami in the north and the Tamil kingdoms of Chola and Pandyas in the south. The Pallavas were finally defeated by the Chola ruler Aditya I in the ninth century CE.
