DR. Y.S.R ARCHITECTURE AND FINE ARTS UNIVERSITY To meet the need of trained professionals with practical, creative and real life problem solving skills in art, design and architecture, Dr. YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University was established. After the separation of the State into Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the government established Dr. YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University, Kadapa under Sub Section (2) of the Section (1) of the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (Amendment) Act, 2019 of A.P Legislature Act No.15 of 2020. The emblem of the university has the national emblem Ashoka Chakra in the centre. The twelve rays that emanate from the wheel, house twelve motifs representing the university’s academics. All these are ensconced in a blue circular border bearing the name of the university. This blue circle has an orange outline. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्या सर्वत्र वन्दिते’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Worshipped Everywhere’ is inscr
