SARDARKRUSHINAGAR DANTIWADA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY Sardarkrushinagar Agricultural University (SDAU) came into existence after quadruplicating of erstwhile GAU on May 1, 2004 with jurisdiction covering seven districts namely; Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Patan, Mehsana, Gandhinagar and Kachchh. The main campus Sardarkrushinagr is located at foothills of ‘Aravalli’ mountain range. The emblem of the university is a three dimensional monogram of the acronym ‘SDAU’ using a single curved line in green colour. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषिमित् कृषस्व’ meaning ‘Farmer’s Friend is Farm’ is written at the bottom.
