NATIONAL BANK FOR FINANCING INFRASTRUCTURE AND DEVELOPMENT The need for establishing a dedicated financial institution to address the long-term infrastructure financing requirements in India was realised considering the nation’s GDP growth objectives and the role of infrastructure development towards the same. In response to this need, the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development Act, 2021 was introduced, as it denotes the return of Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) in the country after a few decades. The Act subsequently received the assent of the President on March 28, 2021 and has come into force effective April 19, 2021. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) vide its letter dated March 8, 2022 has advised that NaBFID shall be regulated and supervised by RBI as an All India Financial Institution (AIFI) under sections 45L and 45N of the RBI Act, 1934, respectively. Its logo is a wordmark of its acronym in blue with ‘a’ in lowercase.

n NATIONAL BANK FOR AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) at the instance of the Government of India, constituted a Committee to Review the Arrangements for Institutional Credit for Agriculture and Rural Development (CRAFICARD) to look into these very critical aspects in 1979. Its recommendation was formation of a unique development financial institution which would address these aspirations and creation of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) was approved by the Parliament through Act 61 of 1981. NABARD came into existence on July 12, 1982 by transferring the agricultural credit functions of RBI and refinance functions of the then Agricultural Refinance and Development Corporation (ARDC). THE RESERVE BANK OF INDIA MUSEUM The Reserve Bank of India Museum is one of a kind experience that explains money, its role in the economy and your role in it, in a fun and interactive way. Its insignia talks about the three aspects the museum deals with money; gold and the genesis of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the red, yellow and blue strokes of brush signify this. In the middle the emblem of RBI is placed. Below this the name of the museum is written. This logo uses colours and forms which are not often used by the central bank.

BHARATIYA RESERVE BANK NOTE MUDRAN PRIVATE LIMITED Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited (BRBNMPL) was established by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as it's wholly owned subsidiary on February 3, 1995, with a view to augmenting the production of bank notes in India to enable the RBI to bridge the gap between the supply and demand for banknotes in the country. The company manages two presses one at Mysore, Karnataka and the other at Salboni, West Bengal. The present capacity of both the presses is 16 billion note pieces per year on a two shift basis. Its emblem has two rollers depicting a printing press and an unprinted sheet goes through it and comes out printed. These are kept in a thick safe diagonally placed squircle shaped enclosure in grey colour. The colour grey stands for reliability and strength and the cyan stands for vibrancy and dynamism.

RESEVE BANK OF INDIA The emblem of Reserve Bank of India has Royal Bengal tiger standing in front of a palm tree. The tiger was referred from the statue at the gate of Belvedere, Kolkata. These are ensconced by ‘ भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ’ on top and ‘RESERVE BANK OF INDIA’ at the bottom. This has been completed by two concentric circles with thin and thick lines. Obviously, this design is very formal and emphasises the ‘Government status of the bank’ with Indian motif which resembles a heraldry. Indeed, it complied with the then requirements of mono colour reproduction and stamping and embossing functions when used at elite stationery. The Royal Bengal tiger or Bengal tiger ( Panthera tigris tigris) , is a subspecies of tiger native to India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. Since 25th century BCE it was found on the Pashupati seal of the Indus Valley Civilisation. Later this was the symbol of the Chola Empire from 300 CE to 1279 CE and is now the official animal of India. The combination of
