INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT BODH GAYA The identity of Indian Institute of Manangement Bodh Gaya (IIMBG) was uveiled by His Holiness the fourteenth Dalai Lama on January 14, 2020. The logo was designed by Chakradhar Saswade of National Institute of Design, Bengaluru. The logo provides a visual identity to IIM Bodh Gaya, which combines the letters of its acronym and some symbolic images along with it. It carries some significant elements in it representing the location of Nalanda and the Bodh Gaya. Stupas, symbolising the centre of the world, or the axis Mundi, represent the enlightened mind or the ‘Buddha’. Inspired by the Stupa of Sanchi, it is symbolic of the material body and the subtle and vibrant ‘inner space’. The waves depict reverberance, radiance, growth, harmony and unity.
