In its endeavour to champion the cause of the indigenous people of India, particularly Northeast and to voice the concerns of the ethnic communities, minorities and the voiceless, the National People’s Party (NPP) was founded in January 2013 by Purno Agitok Sangma. Its symbol is a book on the cover of which ‘क”  and ‘A’ are written.

RAJENDRA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (RIMS) The emblem of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) is directly adapted from the State Emblem of the State of Jharkhand. The central motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents crested with a flaming torch, supported by an open book and a pair of laurels replace the Lion Capital; and the name, place and motto of the college replace the name of the State. The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’. The Staff of Caduceus symbolises medicine and medical profession; the book symbolises the accumulation and dissemination of medical knowledge and the academic foundation of the institution; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the laurels are symbols, which represent victory, honour and academic excellence.

SHEIKH BHIKHARI MEDICAL COLLEGE (SBMC) (HAZARIBAG MEDICAL COLLEGE) The emblem of Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College (SBMC) (Hazaribag Medical College) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents, a mortarboard hat supported by laurels, a stethoscope supported by a laurels and an open book. The earlier version of the emblem of the State of Jharkhand is cresting the staff. The initials and place of the college surmount the motifs. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘आरोग्यं परमं भाग्यं’, which translates to ‘Good Health is the Greatest Fortune’ is written on a blue banner placed below the shield. GOVERNMENT WOMEN'S POLYTECHNIC, MUZAFFARPUR (GWP MUZAFFARPUR) The orange, red and pink emblem of Government Women's Polytechnic, Muzaffarpur (GWP Muzaffarpur) features the motifs of a lotus holding three abstract humans holding their hands, a pair of gear wheels, a transmission tower, a computer and a tailoring machine and the motto of the college ‘Empowering Women Empowering Nation’. These are circumscribed by the name and place of the college and its year of establishment. These are ensconced by circular outlines in red and orange. The lotus and the humans represent purity, resilience and growth. The petals transform into abstract, uplifting figures of women with raised arms, celebrating growth, independence and shared empowerment. The other motifs in the circle represent various fields of technical expertise taught at the institution.

This visually represents the core technical branches taught at the polytechnic level, such as Electronics, Telecommunication and architectural drafting. The motifs of a draftsman's T-square and a winged arrow in the seal refer to structural design, craftsmanship and vocational specialisation; and symbolises progression, upward mobility and the ambition of women breaking barriers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This assemblage is placed on a cyan sunburst. The book is an  universal symbol for knowledge, enlightenment and the pursuit of academic excellence; the flame of fire symbolises divine presence, enlightenment, inner awakening, passion, vitality and purification; the sunburst symbolises constant growth, energy and technical precision; and the other motifs refer to modern technical and digital education for women.
