The emblem of Galgotias University is a pictorial inspired from its acronym ‘GU’ and its three guiding qualities of trust, dependability and commitment. The swooshes forming a circle created using red, yellow and blue represent these qualities and in the counter of the pictorial an image of Goddess Saraswati, the God of Learning is placed. The colour red denotes passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration; yellow symbolises happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

KONERU LAKSHMAIAH EDUCATION FOUNDATION Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF) has been deemed to be university since 2009. Earlier it was known as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering (KLCE) and Koneru Lakshmaiah University, located in Vaddeswaram, Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh. The red and blue emblem of the foundation has a gear wheel with twelve teeth of which nine bear the symbols of nine planets. It houses the motifs of a factory, atomic symbol, a bridge and a transmission tower within a circle. There is a border around the circle bearing its name and its motto ‘Knowledge Leadership Universality’. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure. The other motifs denote the fields of engineering the university offers to the students. The icons of nine planets may signify the relevance and wishes of the university to benefit from their movements.
