Atul is an improvement driven, integrated chemical company serving about four thousand customers belonging to thirty industries across the world. The Company has established subsidiary companies in the USA, the UK, China, Brazil and the UAE to serve its customers and thus enhance breadth and depth of its business. Atul was founded on September 5, 1947 by Kasturbhai Lalbhai, an institution builder par excellence and a legendary Indian of his times. Its logo is a word mark in orange colour, in which its name is written using bold brush strokes and supported by a swoosh in green.

Its emblem has a sixteen petalled lotus drawn like a 'rangoli' holding an orange circle having its name written in a Devanagari looking typeface, in which ‘o’s are treated as cut vegetable and tomato and ‘l’ like a stem of cereal. On the border around the circle, its tagline ‘Let’s Bring the Goodness Back!’ is written.
