TRIPURA POLICE
Tripura was a one District Territory with one District Magistrate – DM and  Collector and also one Superintendent of Police upto August 31,1970. The territory was divided into three districts with appointment of three DM and Collectors from September 1,1970. Accordingly, three Superintendents of Police were appointed and posted to the districts. The emblem of the Tripura Police shows what could be the modern emblem of the State of Tripura. It has two mountains proper and a rising sun or with a Crest: The Asoka-capital with its motto, being the emblem of India and a Garland: Branches of laurel or. The emblem is displayed on a oval shield parted per fess Gules and Azure. The banner of the Tripura Police is pointed and fringed on the lower edge, parted per fess Gules and Azure, charged with the emblem of the Tripura Police with the legend TRIPURA POLICE in white lettering below. Its motto is ‘Seva Veertha Bandhuta’ meaning ‘Service Valour Friendship’ is written on a yellow banner in blue.

The circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. A pair of laurels supports the border. Below the seal, the motto of the college ‘Knowledge & Empowerment’ is written. GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE KOTLI (GDC KOTLI) The emblem of Government Degree College Kotli (GDC Kotli) features the motifs of a green mountain range with peaks, greenish blue waves of water, an open book and the text ‘2016’. The motifs are ensconced by the name of the college in Devanagari and English in red. The motto of the college ‘Education Liberates’ and in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ (1,19.41, Viṣṇu Purāṇa, Rishi Parāśara), which translates to ‘Knowledge is the One That Liberates’ is written below the book. The mountain range reflects the local landscape of Kotli; the flowing water represents the local water streams running through the valley, symbolising continuous movement, vitality and life; and the book is a universal symbol for knowledge, learning and academic pursuit.

GOVERNMENT COLLEGE KUKUMSERI (GC KUKUMSERI) The emblem of Government College Kukumseri (GC Kukumseri) features an image of a yellow Sonki flower (Senecio bombayensis or Jacobaea bombayensis) ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college in Devanagari and its motto in Sanskrit ‘उत्तिष्ठत जाग्रत प्राप्य वरान्निबोधत’ (Mantra 14, Valli 3, Chapter 1, Kathopanishad), which translates to ‘Arise, Awake and Stop Not till the Goal is Reached’. The Sonki is a bright yellow wild bloom native to the high-altitude rocky plateaus and cold Himalayan mountain ranges and valleys of the Lahaul region. It blooms extensively at the end of the monsoon season, carpeting the landscape in a golden-yellow hue. It serves as a visual anchor symbolizing the unique geographic heritage, growth, resilience, and beauty flourishing in a harsh environment.

JAMIA HAMDARD The history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, a well known practitioners of the unani system of medicine. He had a vision of making the practice of unani medicine into a scientific discipline so that it could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients. He gave the name Hamdard to his venture which means ‘sympathy for all and sharing of pain’. His son, Hakeem Abdul Hameed, carried forward his father's philosophy. Its emblem is circular and green in colour with an open book in the middle of a pair of laurels crested by a star and crescent and supported by its name in Persian. The open book has the motto of the university in Persian ‘الكتاب والحكمة’ meaning ‘The Book and Wisdom’. The motto of the college in Sanskrit 'विनीतो ज्ञानवान् शुचिः’, which translates to ‘Humility Knowledge Purity’ is inscribed on a yellow panel placed below the seal. (ADCC Bank) has a map of the District supporting a cow with calf; a crest of cereal and an ear of corn is placed on a yellow circle ensconced by a red gear wheel inscribed with its name and place in Devanagari.
