The red and blue emblem of Maharaja Agrasen University (MAU) is a monogram of its acronym supported by a red banner carrying its motto and surmounted by its name. The counters of the monogram house a glowing sun and an atomic structure. The motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानविज्ञानाभ्यामं कौशलम्’ means ‘Knowledge and Experience with Science’. The sun symbolises life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the atomic structure denotes science, technology and scientific knowledge; the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
