PRADHAN MANTRI FASAL BIMA YOJANA

The Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), also known as Crop Insurance Scheme, is an integrated IT solution and a web-based ecosystem to speed up service delivery, unify fragmented databases, achieve a single view of data, and eliminate manual processes. Crop insurance portal has enabled the digitization of notification of areas, crops, schemes for enabling information access to multiple stakeholders, thereby facilitating ease of access to the farmers in availing crop insurance services. The logo of PMFBY has a pair of hands like structures enclosing the crop within, which is a depiction of the sole motto of the scheme i.e., to insure crops. The crop has been shown in the shade of green whereas the hands are in gradients of red and yellow.

The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. Its name is written in Urdu atop the emblem on a banner; written in Devanagari on a banner above the logo and in English at its bottom. SANT GAHIRA GURU VISHWAVIDYALAYA The circular emblem of Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (SGCG), formerly known a s Sarguja University has a circular border in orange and green and has its name, place and motto inscribed in Devanagari and supported by a pair of tribal ornaments. The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’.
