SIKKIM SKILL UNIVERSITY

The dark blue and yellowish circular emblem of the Sikkim Skill University (SSU) holds a motif of Himalayas with rising sun and flying birds in a circle. These are ensconced by a dark blue border on which the name of the university is inscribed. The mountains represent the geography of the locale, the rising sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the flying birds symbolise good fortune and that one’s hard work is paying off. The colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
