SRI SRI UNIVERSITY

Sri Sri University (SSU) was established on December 26, 2009 and started functioning from 2012. The university was envisioned by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The Art of Living Programme is an integral part of the curriculum at the university. The circular seal of the university in brown colour houses a golden colour tree with trunks, branches and birds, which is ensconced by a white border. The top half of the border its name is inscribed and its motto in Sanskrit ‘सत्यं ज्ञानं अनन्थम् ब्रह्म’ meaning ‘True Knowledge is the Infinite Brahman’ is written in the bottom half. These two are separated by a pair of flying birds. The tree symbolises strength, individuality and expression, calmness, growth and the interconnectedness of everything; birds denote freedom of thought, imagination and greater vision; the colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition and the colour gold symbolises wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

ONGC VIDESH LIMITED The emblem of ONGC Videsh Limited has the motif of ONGC in white placed on a blue square representing the sun and the earth. It depicts the image of a flowing petroleum oil well, which is vibrant, full of life and active all the time. The logo, the flow lines are open and the word ONGC VIDESH is written in Devanagari and English. The colour blue  signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

AMITY UNIVERSITY RAJASTHAN The emblem of Amity University Rajasthan (AU R) has a shield divided into yellow and dark blue sections. The dark blue portion is a left to right upward sweeping stroke, bearing the name of the university. The yellow portion has a torch, the flame of which is written using its acronym. The circular emblem in orange and green has a gear wheel housing a pair of laurels and circle containing a map of India and its year of establishment ensconced by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ on a green border. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.

This assemblage is supported by a red banner bearing its motto ‘राष्ट्रमेव जयते’ meaning ‘Let the Nation Triumph’. The gear wheel refers to industry and industrial financing.
