(Janaseva Bank) has a traditional lamp surmounted by a gear wheel and supported by a pair of laurels placed in a vertical ellipse. (Pune Urban Bank) has a motif of Goddess Lakshmi placed on a red circle and ensconced by a circular border inscribed with its name in Devanagari. Goddess Lakshmi symbolises good fortune and beauty, abundance, prosperity, wealth and harmony and is believed to relieve all sorrows caused by dearth of money.

THE KONARK URBAN CO-OP. BANK LTD. (KONARK BANK) The circular seal of The Konark Urban Co-op. Bank Ltd. (Konark Bank) has a motif of the wheel of Sun Temple of Konark with letter ‘k’ in the middle. The wheel is ensconced by four protective hands of support and protection referring to unity, togetherness, protection, safety and strength. SOMNATH FESTIVAL The logo of Somnath Festival has a ‘Trishul’ or trident placed on an orange background supported by a pair of hands. Its name is written below the motif and its tagline in Sanskrit ‘कला द्वारा आराधना’ meaning ‘Worship Through Art’ is placed at the bottom. The Trishul is surmounted by an outline depicting Shiv Ling referring to the presiding deity of the Somanath Temple and supporting hands refer to the protection and reverence to the deity and his arm. MANKOLAM Mankolam, the abstract image of mango and the paisley design is shaped like a mango and associated with Lord Ganesha. Mangos are the sweetest of fruits, symbolizing auspiciousness and the happy fulfillment of legitimate worldly desires. In Sanskrit the design is known as mankolam and has long been used in India. In Tamil, ‘ma’ means Mango and kolam means rangoli pattern, suggesting a possible Tamil origin for the Sanskrit word.

POORNA KUMBHA Poorna Kumbha or Purna Kumbh is a copper or brass pot filled with water with its mouth decorated with mango leaves, coconut and flowers. The body of the vessel may have the engraving of the face of a goddess or drawn with the symbol of Sun god drawn with kumkum and turmeric. The Kalasa is the topmost part of the Shikhara with further sub parts like Kumbha (Pot), Griva (Neck), Karnika (Crowning Projection) & Bija Puraka (Coconut fruit). It is believed in Hinduism that the Purna Kumbha stands as a symbol of abundance, fertility and has auspicious qualities to it. Its is mentioned in the Rig Veda. It is related to vedic rituals and mantras, associated with the concept of purnatva or completeness. The Purna Kumbha or Kalasa is a celebration of the emergence of life on Earth.
