The emblem of The Pune District Central Co-Operative Bank Ltd. (PDCC Bank) has a motif of yellow gear wheel housing a farmer tilling the land with a pair of cattle and plough circumscribed by its name in Devanagari and supported by its year of inception and its tagline in Sanskrit ‘सत् फलाय् सहकारिता’ meaning ‘Public Benefit Through Cooperation’. A pair of laurels supports the motifs on the sides and a banner and its initials at the bottom. All these are placed on a blue rectangular panel. The farmer refers to agriculture and agricultural financing; the gear wheel refers to industry and industrial financing and the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

COTTON UNIVERSITY Cotton University (CU) was formerly known as Cotton College, the institute was established in 1901 by Sir Henry Stedman Cotton, the Chief Commissioner of the erstwhile British province of Assam. PALLAVA DYNASTY - BULL The Pallava Dynasty existed from 275 CE to 897 CE, ruling a significant portion of the Deccan, also known as Thondaimandalam. The dynasty rose to prominence after the downfall of the Satavahana dynasty, with whom they had formerly served as feudatories. The Pallavas became a major South Indian power during the reign of Mahendravarman I(600–630 CE) and Narasimhavarman I (630–668 CE), dominating for about 600 years, until the end of the 9th century. Kancheepuram served as the capital of the Pallava kingdom.  They developed the Pallava script, from which, Grantha ultimately took form.
