VEGETARIAN AND NON-VEGETARIAN FOOD
As per FSS (Packaging and Labelling) Regulations, 2011, a ‘non-vegetarian food’ means an article of food which contains whole or part of any animal including birds, fresh water or marine animals or eggs or products of any animal origin, but excluding milk or milk products, as an ingredient and ‘vegetarian food’ means any article of food other than non-vegetarian food. To enable the consumer to know whether any packaged food is vegetarian or non-vegetarian, this will be indicated in the form of a brown triangle in square or green circle in a square on the package respectively.

Formerly called Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly, was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983. The insignia of the institution has a innumerable concentric petalled lotus in a red circle encircled by its name and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान पंथ कृपान कै धारा’ meaning ‘Cult of Knowledge is Through the Blessings’ and is ensconced in a blue gear wheel turning clockwise. Lotus symbolises knowledge, wisdom and purity and the gear wheel symbolises energy, movement, advancement and progress.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.

INDIA METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT In the year 1875, the Government of India established the India Meteorological Department (IMD), bringing all meteorological work in the country under a central authority in Calcutta. The headquarters of IMD were later shifted to Shimla, then to Poona and finally to New Delhi. Its emblem has a weather map of India in blue colour, within a circular border, its name in Devanagari and English are written. These are divided by two Ashoka Chakras. SARLA BIRLA UNIVERSITY Sarala Birla University (SBU) is a self-financed private unitary university. The emblem of the university has a leaf of ‘bilva’ symbolising the Trinetra or three eyes of Lord Shiva, like volition, action and knowledge is placed in an orange circle. The middle leaf has the motifs of a sun and a lotus in  a waterbody. In the three grooves of the leaves the motifs of an elephant, shanka or conch and a swan are placed. Theses are circumscribed by a white circle with orange outline, which bears the vision of the university in Sanskrit ‘कौशल गुणवत्ता नेतृत्व’ meaning ‘Skills Quality Leadership'.
