NETAJI SUBHAS UNIVERSITY

The red colour insignia of the Netaji Subhas University (NSU) has a shield holding a traditional lamp above which the acronym and place of the university are placed. The shield has a thick border. The top portion of the shield has another border ending as banners on either side carry the year of establishment of the university. The shield is supported by a pair of laurels. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication and the colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, KAKINADA Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) was established in the year 2008 vide Act No. 30 of 2008 by the State of Andhra Pradesh. The university started as College of Engineering Visakhapatnam founded by the Government of the composite Madras State in 1946. The college became a constituent of JNTU, Hyderabad in 1972. INDIAN GRAPE PROCESSING BOARD Keeping the above in mind and to co-ordinate the efforts for promotion and development of the wine industry in India in close association with industry, producers and other stakeholders, the Union Cabinet in its meeting held on January 2, 2009 gave its approval for the establishment of the Indian Grape Processing Board (IGPB) under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Board has its headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra that is close to the principal grape growing and processing areas in the country. Its logo has a wine glass with a bunch of grapes and vine leaf in white in a light green circle, which is surrounded by its name in black sans serif text.
