MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES

Founded in 2007, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is a branch of the Government of India and an apex body for the formulation and administration of rules, regulations and laws related to micro, small and medium enterprises in India. The logo of MSME in light blue background with blue details has the National Emblem of India at the centre that highlights government identity. The emblem is surrounded by typefaces in English and Hindi. Hindi typeface 'सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम' is written using Devanagari script.

TEERTHANKER MAHAVEER UNIVERSITY Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), was established by an Act (No. 30) of 2008 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2008. The emblem of the university has a motif of a pair of green flying birds motif supporting the acronym of the name and place of the university are placed in a circular orange vignette background. These are ensconced by a half white and half red border which bears the name of the university in English and Devanagari respectively. On a banner with orange tones, its motto in Sanskrit ‘सम्यक् दर्शन, सम्यक् ज्ञान, सम्यक् चारित्र' meaning ‘Right philosophy, Right knowledge, Right character’ is inscribed in black. The green flying bird symbols mean good luck, hope, joy, new beginnings, renewal and healing.

GURU GHASIDAS VISHWAVIDYALAYA Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), is a Central University of India, located in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh State, established under Central Universities Act 2009, No. 25 of 2009. Formerly called Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly, was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983. The insignia of the institution has a innumerable concentric petalled lotus in a red circle encircled by its name and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान पंथ कृपान कै धारा’ meaning ‘Cult of Knowledge is Through the Blessings’ and is ensconced in a blue gear wheel turning clockwise. Lotus symbolises knowledge, wisdom and purity and the gear wheel symbolises energy, movement, advancement and progress.

The shield is ensconced by a blue banner inscribed with its tagline ‘The Cross Our Hope’ and its motto ‘Truth Charity’ with a star cresting the shield. The Cross symbolises Christianity, representing Jesus Christ's crucifixion, sacrifice, love, and resurrection, signifying redemption, hope, and victory over death; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the star symbolises perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal.

The peacock in its emblem represents the exuberance and pride in IIM Rohtak’s vision to be a global leader, while the Sanskrit words which read ‘Management Through Knowledge and Values’ (ज्ञानेन गुणेन च प्रबंधः) signify IIM Rohtak’s mission of knowledge diffusion, social commitment and value system (or corporate governance). GODDESS MAHAGAURI Goddess Mahagauri is the radiant eighth form of Goddess Durga, representing purity, peace, calmness, and wisdom. Her name, meaning ‘great fair one’, signifies the transformation of Goddess Parvati's dark complexion into a radiant white form after extreme penance and a sacred bath. Worshipping Maa Mahagauri on the eighth day of Navratri is believed to purify sins, remove fear and sorrow, and grant inner peace, prosperity, and self-realisation to her devotees. AMUL Amul began when milk became a symbol of protest. It was founded in 1946 to stop exploitation by middlemen and inspired by the freedom movement and advised by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Thus began the cooperative, the Kaira District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd. Dr. Verghese Kurien took charge from 1950 and he was the first head of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). AMUL is derived from Sanskrit ‘Amoolya’ meaning invaluable. This is developed from Old English Text typeface and has stood the test of time and is fondly remembered by consumers. The logo is in red colour.
