RAJALAKSHMI ENGINEERING COLLEGE The blue emblem of Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) features a motif of a gear wheel housing motifs of globe with nine motifs representing different fields of engineering crested by a lotus and a traditional lamp; supported by an open book and a banner inscribed with its initials ‘REC’. The gear wheel is inscribed with the name of the college. The gear wheel refers to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the globe refers to power, knowledge and vanity; the lotus refers to purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the lamp refers to light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and the open book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.

ETERNAL UNIVERSITY The orange and blue emblem of Eternal University (EU) has a globe in the tones of orange with a dove with a branch of olive flying above. The name of the university is written in black and red. Its motto ‘In Pursuit of Permanent Peace and Spiritual Brotherhood’ is written along the circumference of the globe. The dove with a branch of olive symbolises peace, innocence and purity; the globe symbolises education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness and the colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

KALAKSHETRA FOUNDATION Kalakshetra literally means a holy place of arts (Kala: Arts, Kshetra: Field or Holy place). Deriving inspiration from this noble ideal, Kalakshetra Foundation was established. Kalakshetra Foundation as it is known today was recognised by the Government of India as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in 1993 and is now an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Its logotype in yellow ochre colour ‘kalakshetra’ is written in calligraphic style in lower case and over lapping this at its bottom ‘Foundation’ is written in brown colour.

GSP CROP SCIENCES PRIVATE LIMITED GSP Crop Science Private Limited (GSP) was promoted Vrajmohan R. Shah in 1985, as a manufacturer of single super phosphate in the fertilizers industry. Today, it manufactures technical grade ingredients and formulates insecticides, fungicides and herbicides, intermediates, biopesticides, seed-treatment chemicals and public health products. Its products are successfully exported to about 45 countries. Its emblem is a monogram of its acronym GSP blue in stencil cut letters with a sprout of green leaves springing from the counter of 'P'.

GOVERNMENT ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE, PAPPIREDDIPATTI (GASCPRP) The emblem of Government Arts and Science College, Pappireddipatti (GASCPRP) features shield housing the motifs of the king Athiyaman interacting with poet Avvaiyar, an open book with rising sun and two abstract humans, a tree held by a pair of hands, a computer and an image of Vaniyar Dam, ensconced by a purple circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. At the bottom, a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Tamil ‘‘கற்றனைத் தூறும் அறிவு’ (Thiruvalluvar, 396, Thirukkural) meaning ‘Knowledge Grows As Much As One Learns’ is inscribed is placed on the seal. Athiyaman and Avvaiyar refer to history and heritage; the book, sun and the humans refer to education and educational achievement; the tree refers to nature, sustenance and growth; the computer refers to technology; and the dam refers to the local landmark.
