Draft for Food Safety and Standards (Ayurveda Aahar) Regulations, 2021 was notified on June 30, 2021. Ayurveda Aahar means a food prepared in accordance with the recipes or ingredients and/or processes as per methods described in the authoritative books of Ayurveda listed under ‘Schedule A’ of the regulations. It also includes products which have other botanical ingredients in accordance with the concept of Ayurvedic Aahar but does not include Ayurvedic drugs or proprietary Ayurvedic medicines and medicinal products, cosmetics, narcotic or psychotropic substances, herbs listed under Schedule E of Drug and Cosmetic Act, 1940. The proposed label is predominantly blackish green has a monogram created using Devanagari ‘अ’ and ‘A’ together topped with five leaves in different shades in a light green background. Adjacent to this ‘Ayurved Aahar’ is written in two shades of green.

The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

DIRECTORATE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE SERVICES During 1983, the then Scientific Advisory Committee to the Cabinet (SAC-C) under the overall guidance of an Expert Committee chaired by Prof. M. M. Sharma, FRS, recommended that the laboratories in Delhi, Calcutta and Hyderabad must be developed as Science and Technology institutions, functioning in an autonomous fashion. Accordingly, the Government of India declared the forensic science Institutions, as Science and Technology institutions. In the first phase, the three Central Forensic Science Laboratories at Calcutta, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh were restructured into six scientific division viz. Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Explosive, Physics and Toxicology.
