RAGHU ENGINEERING COLLEGE (REC) The circular seal of Raghu Engineering College (REC) features an image of Goddess Saraswati on a lotus with sawan, the Goddess of learning, education, knowledge and wisdom, supported on sides by Kamadhenu and Gajendra and ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name and initials of the college. Below the emblem, on a yellow banner, the motto of the college ‘Knowledge is Power’ is written. Kamadhenu symbolises abundance, prosperity, fertility, and divine blessings. Gajendra symbolises the human condition: powerful yet vulnerable, entangled in the cycle of life (samsara) by worldly attachments, ignorance, and sin. His story illustrates that complete surrender to the Divine during moments of profound suffering leads to liberation (Moksha).

RURAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE (REC) The emblem of Rural Engineering College (REC) features a shield housing the motifs of  a gearwheel, an open book, a motif of DNA, a laboratory flask, a sun on a platform, a pair of connected hexagons, and a scientific tool crested on the left top by a banner inscribed with the name of the managing society and supported by a banner inscribed with the name of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.

RANIPETTAI ENGINEERING COLLEGE (REC) The circular emblem of Ranipettai Engineering College (REC) features a globe holding the motifs of an open book, lotus, a torch, a satellite dish antenna and a pair of gear wheels ensconced by a gearwheel. This assemblage is placed within an orange circular border inscribed with the name of the college. The address of the college is written below. At the bottom on a yellow banner, its motto in Tamil’உழைப்பே உயர்வு தரும்’meaning ‘Hard Work Brings Progress’ is inscribed. RAJALAKSHMI ENGINEERING COLLEGE The blue emblem of Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) features a motif of a gear wheel housing motifs of globe with nine motifs representing different fields of engineering crested by a lotus and a traditional lamp; supported by an open book and a banner inscribed with its initials ‘REC’. The gear wheel is inscribed with the name of the college. The gear wheel refers to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the globe refers to power, knowledge and vanity; the lotus refers to purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; the lamp refers to light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and the open book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
