VAJIRAM & RAVI

Vajiram & Ravi is India’s well-known institute preparing candidates for the Civil Services Examination at all the three levels - Preliminary Test, Main Examination and Personality Test. The institute was founded in 1976 by Professor P. Velayutham, who had to his credit numerous academic distinctions from India and abroad. Its emblem has a circular shining sun in yellow and orange, superimposed by ‘V’ in red as an okay mark and ‘R’ in Yellow brush stroke and a white banner at the bottom with its name.

XAVIER'S COLLEGE, DUMKA (SXCD) The emblem of St. Xavier's College, Dumka (SXCD) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of ‘IHS’ monogram within a sun, a traditional lamp and an open book supported by a yellow banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘To Enlighten and To Empower’. This assemblage is ensconced by a purple circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; sunburst with IHS is the Jesuit seal and it represents the name of Jesus. GIRIDIH COLLEGE, GIRIDIH The emblem of Giridih College, Giridih features a circle with four panels housing the motifs of a banyan tree, rising sun, a miner with a pickaxe and a range of mountains supported by a pair of stalks of grain. The name of the college and its motto are written in Devanagari on a circular border around the motifs.
