BORDER SECURITY FORCE
Till 1965, India’s borders with Pakistan were manned by the State Armed Police Battalion. Pakistan attacked Sardar Post, Chhar Bet and Beria Bet on April 9, 1965 in Kutch. This exposed the inadequacy of the State Armed Police to cope with armed aggression due to which the Government of India felt the need for a specialized centrally controlled Border Security Force, which would be armed and trained to man the International Border with Pakistan. As a result of the recommendations of the Committee of Secretaries, the Border Security Force (BSF) came into existence on December 1, 1965 and Shri K F Rustamji was the first chief. The coat of arms of the BSF shows the acronym ‘BSF’ in dark blue colour garlanded by golden twig of leaves. Below is the motto of the of the force on a golden bordered red ribbon in Devnagiri. Crest of the force epitomizes the force motto ‘Duty Unto Death’ - ‘जीवन पर्यन्त कर्तव्य’ has Ashoka lion pillar on top of the emblem.

INDIRA GANDHI RASHTRIYA MANAV SANGRAHALAYA A nucleus of a 'National Museum of Man' began functioning from New Delhi from March 21, 1977 as part of the Anthropological Survey of India. In 1978 it was separated from the Anthropological Survey of India and declared as an Independent Subordinate Office of the Department of Culture, Government of India. In March 1985 the Museum was renamed as Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, which was later through a Cabinet decision named after Indira Gandhi as Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS). INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS The in-principle approval was granted by Planning Commission in year 2006 for development of a world class institution on corporate affairs. The proposal for setting up of Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) was approved in 2007 February. IICA was conceived as a revenue generating model and in the initial stage at least 33 percent of the revenue expenditure should be income from their activities. Its corporate tagline is ‘Partners Governance Transfromation’. The monogram has a bright blue rectangular round cornered box with four yellow coloured floating strokes symbolising the range of issues, which the institution may address; the acronym partially in white in the box and partially out of it.

It provides a collective view of eTransactions performed through e-Governance applications implemented including, but not limited to, the national level mission mode projects under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). The logo for eTaal comprises of typographic elements to express the name of the organization. The emblem is a greenish blue stylized version of ‘e’ and the monogram is cursive text, ‘taal’ in black similar to that of written by a marker.

KARNATAKA POLICE Police in Karnataka were called by various names in different regions. After initiation of policing, they were initially called Thoti, Talwar, Umbalidhar, Kattubidi, Neeraganti etc. The police primarily with policing used to do other jobs entrusted to them. NATIONAL SECURITY GUARD The National Security Guard (NSG) was set up in 1984 as a Federal Contingency Deployment Force to tackle all facets of terrorism in the country. TRIPURA POLICE Tripura was a one District Territory with one District Magistrate – DM and  Collector and also one Superintendent of Police upto August 31,1970. JAL JEEVAN MISSION Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) was launched by the Government of India on August15, 2019 in partnership with the States, to enable every household in villages to have Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) in the next 5 years. It is envisaged that with FHTC, each household will have supply of potable water (at least 55 lpcd as prescribed in BIS 10500:2012) on regular and long-term basis. To implement the mission, institutional arrangements at various levels have been made and State’s PHE and RWS Departments are to play a critical role. They have to help Gram Panchayat (GP) and / or its sub-committee to plan, implement, manage, operate and maintain its in-village water supply systems. INSTITUTE OF PESTICIDE FORMULATION TECHNOLOGY Established in May, 1991 under the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT) established a healthy rapport with the pesticides industries and has been able to successfully transfer technology for safer, efficient and environment friendly formulations. The Institute also functions as a Technical Coordinator Unit on user and environment friendly pesticide formulation technology and quality control of RENPAP, one of the largest networks of UNDP and UNIDO comprising of 15 countries of Asia. PRADHAN MANTRI JAN AUSHADHI PARIYOJANA Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) is a campaign launched in November 2008 by the Department of Pharmaceuticals Government of India in association with Central Pharma Public Sector Undertaking, to provide quality medicines at affordable prices to the masses through dedicated outlets called ‘Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra’ branded as ‘Jan Aushadhi’. These provide generic medicines at lowest prices. The potency of these medicines are same as compared to expensive branded medicines available in the open market. Bureau of Pharma PSUs of India (BPPI) is the implementation agency for PMBJP. The four coloured logo has symbols and Devanagari words. The symbol consists of two joyous persons in blue colour, in the backdrop of a bottle of medicine in fresh green colour and ensconced by a circle.
