COFFEE BOARD
The Coffee Board was set up under Section (4) of the Coffee Act, 1942. The Board is headed by a Chairman and functions from Bangalore. The Board administers four projects for growth and development of the coffee industry; promoting coffee consumption in India and exports in the international market; supporting research; extension and developmental activities for raising productivity; evolving pest and disease resistant varieties and prescribing and enforcing quality standards at all stages. The coffee brown coloured logo has the map of India in the centre surrounded by two concentric circle bearing the name in Devanagari and English. At the bottom is a coffee cup with saucer has got a pair of wreaths of coffee stem with leaves.

KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN The emblem of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has a rising sun with its golden rays resembling twelve flying birds supported by an open book in the National Tricolour. Below the book its motto in Sanskrit ‘तत् त्वं पूषन् अपावृणु’ (15, Shloka, Isavasyopanishad) meaning ‘O Pushan, that I, Truth’s devotee’ and at the bottom the name of the institution is written in Devanagari. The Bihar Regiment claims its origins from the sepoy battalions raised in 1758 by Clive at Patna. The Bihari or poorbia or purviah soldier thereafter continued to provide the backbone of The Bengal Infantry of the British.
