AKHIL BHARATIYA VIDYARTHI PARISHAD
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) started activities somewhere in 1948 and registered on 9th July, 1949 as a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) under Societies Registration Act 1860 with Registrar of Joint Staff Companies, Delhi. ABVP has unflinching faith and conviction in Unity and integrity of Bharat, Bharatiya philosophies, National Reconstruction, rich cultural heritage and civilization continue to be the source of inspiration on the principles and practice of Dharma, effective participation of the students, youth and the people. Its emblem has a right hand holding a burning torch in the centre of a blue circle with map of India within white border, wherein its name in Devanagari in red is written and at the bottom of the circle is its motto ‘ज्ञान शील एकता' meaning ‘Knowledge Discipline Unity’ in blue.

KARNATAKA POLICE Police in Karnataka were called by various names in different regions. After initiation of policing, they were initially called Thoti, Talwar, Umbalidhar, Kattubidi, Neeraganti etc. The police primarily with policing used to do other jobs entrusted to them. Mysore State was the predecessor to Karnataka State, which was created on November 1, 1965. Sri. L. Rickets was appointed as first Inspector General of Police. During the rule of Maharajas of Mysore, the policing existed in different variants. Hukumnama or Kandachara was issued for policing during the rule of Maharaja Mummudi Krishna Raja Wodeyar (1799-1811) at old Mysore region under the British rule, when Sri. Poornaiah was Dewan. RAJENDRA UNIVERSITY Rajendra University, Balangir, recognized by UGC as a State Public University, owes its origin to an Intermediate college setup in Balangir in 1944 by Maharaja Rajendra Narayan Sighdeo, the then ruler of the erstwhile Patna State and one of the former Chief Ministers of Odisha. This college was subsequently upgraded to a Degree college in 1946. It was granted autonomy with effect from April 1, 2002. It has been upgraded to a university with effect from September 1, 2020. CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF TAMILNADU The Government of India founded the Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), along with eight other Central Universities, through an Act of Parliament in 2009. Its emblem is in the form of a black shield with a crest of flames in yellow and orange colours. The top portion of the shield, which is separated by a horizontal double head arrow line, has its name written in Devanagari topped by a rising sun. The portion below this is divided into three parts with a symbol of recycling materials, a graduating scholar in a halo and a stem of plant shooting from a pair of meshed gear wheels, which are supported by a pair of blue ribbons. The recycle emblem and the graduate are separated by a pair of downward flowing ribbons. Below the gear, the year of establishment of the university is written. The edge of the shield is marked by the name of the university in English.
