GURU GHASIDAS VISHWAVIDYALAYA

Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV), is a Central University of India, located in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh State, established under Central Universities Act 2009, No. 25 of 2009. Formerly called Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly, was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983. The insignia of the institution has a innumerable concentric petalled lotus in a red circle encircled by its name and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान पंथ कृपान कै धारा’ meaning ‘Cult of Knowledge is Through the Blessings’ and is ensconced in a blue gear wheel turning clockwise. Lotus symbolises knowledge, wisdom and purity and the gear wheel symbolises energy, movement, advancement and progress.

SAVEETHA ENGINEERING COLLEGE The circular emblem of Saveetha Engineering College is a cyan gear wheel with light green outlines housing an open book with computer, structure of an atom, satellite and dish antenna referring to the different branches of engineering. In the middle of the book ‘Vel’ or - the divine spear of Lord Shanmuga or Lord Murugan is placed. EMBLEM OF MADHYA PRADESH  Madhya Pradesh was created in 1950 from the former British Central Provinces and Berar and the princely states of Makrai and Chhattisgarh, with Nagpur as the capital of the state. The new States of Madhya Bharat, Vindhya Pradesh and Bhopal were formed out of the Central India Agency.
