BENGALURU TECH SUMMIT Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) was organised by the Department of Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka to be held from Nov 29 - Dec 1, 2023 at Bangalore Palace. Its logo has the state emblem ‘gandaberunda’, the State Emblem and a digital wall in tones of blue and purple with the name of the summit in English and Kannada.

NATIONAL HIGHWAYS AUTHORITY OF INDIA National Highways Authority of India was set up by an act of the Parliament, NHAI Act, 1988 ‘An Act to provide for the constitution of an Authority for the development, maintenance and management of national highways and for matter connected therewith or incidental thereto. NHAI is mandated to implement National Highways Development Project (NHDP) which is India’s largest ever Highways Project in a phased manner. Its grey, blue and yellow logo has a multilane highway with an underpass for a pair of roads on which the acronym of the entity is written in Devanagari and English.

NATIONAL HIGHWAYS INFRA TRUST National Highways Infra Trust (NHIT) was set up on October 19, 2020, in New Delhi pursuant to the Trust Deed as a contributory irrevocable trust in accordance with the Indian Trusts Act, 1882. The Trust is an infrastructure investment trust established for making investments in special purpose vehicles as defined under Regulation 2(1)(zy) of the InvIT Regulations or infrastructure projects or securities of Indian companies engaged in the infrastructure sector, as may be permitted in terms of Regulation 18 (5) of the InvIT Regulations. National Highways Infra Investment Managers Private Limited was incorporated as a private limited company on July 25, 2020, under the Companies Act, 2013. NHIIMPL is a wholly owned subsidiary of NHAI. Its logo has the logo of National Highways Authority of India along with its name ‘NHAI INVIT’ write in blue sans serif bold.

HIGHWAYS INFRASTRUCTURE TRUST Highways Infrastructure Trust has been registered with the SEBI as an InvIT under the InvIT Regulations on December 23, 2021 having registration number IN/InvIT/21-22/0019. The Highways Infrastructure Trust’s initial portfolio comprises six roads assets with a total length of more than 451.99 kilometres across six states in India. The assets which include a diversified mix of toll and annuity roads are located in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. Its logo has a motif of multilane highway in tones of grey alongwith its name written in classic sans serif in orange and black.

MRPL was set up in 1988 with the initial processing capacity of 3.69 MMTPA that was later expanded to the present capacity of 15.0 MMTPA. On March 28, 2003, ONGC acquired the total shareholding of A.V. Birla Group and further infused equity capital of INR 600 crores thus making MRPL a majority held subsidiary of ONGC. Its olive-green logo is an adoption of the ONGC logo with its acronym in Devanagari and English placed at the bottom of the ONGC logo.

The institute has developed two special industry focused courses. They are Chemical Technology having four different specialisations viz. Pharmaceutical Technology, Dyes and Pigments Technology, Polymer and Rubber Technology and Glass and Ceramic Technology and Environmental Science and Technology. Its predominantly blue logo has a hexagonal molecular structure connecting with another blue, green, yellow and orange atoms. On the right of the pictorial, its name is written.

NATIONAL LAW INSTITUTE UNIVERSITY The National Law Institute University (NLIU) has been established by Act No. 41 of 1997 of the Madhya Pradesh Legislature to fill the gap and provide the most modern legal education through multidisciplinary teaching and training of newer skills needed for the profession. The University launched its first academic programme in 1998. The red circular emblem of the university has its acronym written in the middle, topped by a yellowish drop of enlightenment, knowledge, wisdom and realisation. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘यत्नवान सुखमेधते’ meaning ‘The Diligent Grows Happily’ is inscribed. These are ensconced in a circular border which carries the name of the university, its place and its year of establishment.

SIDDHARTH UNIVERSITY Situated in the abode of lord Buddha, Siddharth University was established as a State University, in June 2015, at Kapilvastu, Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. The emblem of the university has a meditating Buddha seated on a lotus with a halo around his head representing meditative wisdom, knowledge, spirituality and enlightenment. It is ensconced in a yellow circular border on which the name of the university and the place is written in Devanagari and English. These are standing on a pink lotus, which symbolises purity, knowledge, aesthetics and learning. The emblem is topped by a red banner on which its motto Sanskrit ‘अत्तदीपो भव’ meaning ‘Enlighten Inner Light’ is written.

SAMCO Securities Limited is a discount broking and depository services firm. Its logo has a swastika in red and a wordmark of its name in red and blue. The text is a clear bold sans serif font.

ALL INDIA RADIO NEWS

ALL INDIA RADIO NEWS The first news bulletin from the Delhi Station went on the air on January 19, 1936 coinciding with the starting of its transmission. The Central News Organization was set up on August 1, 1937. The Monitoring Service was set up in 1939 to monitor foreign broadcasts. In 1943, the External Broadcast Unit was set up under the Director of News. By 1945, the Central News Organization was handling news bulletins in different Indian languages through All India Radio News. Its blue, green and orange insignia in the form of a microphone has its acronym 'AIR' placed over a map of India, with a border which has its motto ‘बहुजनहिताय बहुजनसुखाय’ in Devanagari meaning 'Public Welfare Public Good', written on both the sides. Its name in Hindi 'Akashvani Samachar' is written below in blue on an orange banner. At the bottom its name is written on a blue banner.

DD NEWS

DD NEWS DD News is the only terrestrial cum satellite news channel of the country. DD News channel was launched on November 3, 2003 by converting DD Metro into a twenty four hours news channel. Its satellite footprint is available across the country. DD News terrestrial reach is 49 percent by population and 25 percent by area of the country. DD News is currently producing news content in Hindi, English, Urdu and Sanskrit languages. The red logo has its name written in two parts with DD on top in sans serif bold and below that in a red stadium ‘NEWS’ is written in sans serif bold in white. The logo is straight, direct and bold. This is one of the strongest logos of a government organisation I have come across in India.

DD FREE DISH DTH

DD FREE DISH DTH DD Free Dish DTH service is owned and operated by Public Service Broadcaster, Prasar Bharati. It was launched in December, 2004. DD Free Dish is the only Free-to-Air (FTA) Direct-To-Home (DTH) Service where there is no monthly subscription fee from the viewers. The logo of the entity has its anime written in red and black extra bold sans serif with borders. This is created using the blue logo of Doordarshan and the motif of a television dish antenna on the right side.

INDIAN RAILWAY TRAFFIC SERVICE

INDIAN RAILWAY TRAFFIC SERVICE  The Indian Railway Traffic Service (भारतीय रेल यातायात सेवा) abbreviated as IRTS is an organised Group 'A' Class 1 service (cadre) of the Government of India. The selection for the service is done through the Civil Services Exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The officers of the service are responsible for administering railway transport in the country. The Traffic Department comprises two branches - Operations and Commercial. The emblem of IRTS has a pair of rail tracks in black twist and support the Ashoka Chakra, which is supported by the national emblem of India, This is ensconced by a red circle. At the bottom, on a red banner the acronym ‘IRTS’ is written. Around the motifs on a white circular border its name is written. This is further surrounded by black border with seventeen stars representing the number of zones in the Indian Railways. A red circular border surrounds the emblem.

DIGITAL RADIO MONDIALE INDIA The DRM Consortium has created the webpage of Digital Radio Mondiale India (DRMI) dedicated to India, bringing together useful information about the public broadcaster All India Radio (AIR). AIR's impressive implementation of the DRM digital radio standard in the country, which represents probably the biggest digital radio roll-out project in the world. Some 600 million people are covered at present by DRM digital signals due to AIR’s transmissions using thirty five MW transmitters. More than one million new cars are on the Indian roads today, all equipped with DRM radios, which come at no extra cost to the owners. It is an useful tool for any radio enthusiast and also for the industry, the receiver manufacturers, distributors and retailers in India and around the world. DRM India’s logo has DRM’s logo with the tricolour ‘India’ written below that.

Formed in 2007 as a public private partnership between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL, a Government of India enterprise) and Mittal Energy Investments Private Limited, Singapore (a Lakshmi N Mittal company)in Punjab. The company’s logo has three drops of oil depicted as a flower and leaves in orange and green to emphasize that the company is environment friendly and nationalistic and it is supported by a its acronym ‘HMEL’.

PRASAR BHARATI NEWS SERVICE Prasar Bharati News Service (PBNS) is India's state-owned public broadcaster, headquartered in New Delhi. It is a statutory autonomous body set up by an Act of Parliament and comprises the Doordarshan Television Network and Akashvani All India Radio, which were earlier media units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The Parliament of India passed the Prasar Bharati Act to grant this autonomy in 1990, but it was not enacted until September 15, 1997. Prasar Bharati unveiled its new logo on July 11, 2022. PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK Punjab National Bank (PNB), India’s first swadeshi bank, commenced its operations on April 12, 1895 from Lahore, with an authorised capital of INR 2 lakhs and working capital of INR 20,000. The bank was established by the spirit of nationalism and was the first bank purely managed by Indians with Indian capital. During the long history of the bank, nine banks have been merged or amalgamated with PNB. Its logo has a monogram and wordmark of its acronym in reddish brown and orangish yellow. The monogram using Devanagari ‘प’ in yellow with a circle representing a human being is placed in a brown squircle. The wordmark created using sans serif font with even stroke thickness and round corners in brown is placed in a yellow stadium. The colours are earthy, vibrant and strong, thereby establishing a strong bond with customers.
