Flipkart Internet Private Limited is an e-commerce company, headquartered in Bengaluru and incorporated in Singapore as a private limited company. The company initially focused on online book sales before expanding into other product categories such as consumer electronics, fashion, home essentials, groceries and lifestyle products. Flipkart has a dominant position in the apparel segment, bolstered by its acquisition of Myntra. In August 2018, American retail chain Walmart acquired a 77 percent controlling stake in Flipkart for USD 16 billion, valuing Flipkart at around USD 20 billion. Its logo is a motif with a yellow shopping bag on which ‘f’ is written in cyan. The horizontal stroke of the letter has speed lines denoting the speed and agility of service. The yellow bag represents the traditional colour of the bag used in India for shopping essentials. Yellow symbolises dynamism, vibrancy and action.

The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English.
