Founded in 1959 by a visionary entrepreneur, Mr S Appaswamy, Appaswamy Real Estates Ltd. is an eminent real estate conglomerate and one of the leading builders in Chennai. Its founder, Mr Appaswamy is widely credited to have introduced the ‘Apartment Culture’ in Chennai by being one of the first to offer elegantly designed residences. Additionally, they were the builders in Chennai to pioneer the concept of creating townships in key suburban locations through the urban development model – one that is now replicated by many others. Its logo in earthy brown colour has a motif and its name written beside it. The motif has a right open palm supporting a house, symbolising trust worthy builders of homes.

The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU The University of Jammu (UoJ) came into existence in 1969 through the Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act 1969 following bifurcation of the erstwhile University of Jammu and Kashmir. The circular emblem of the university has an open book supporting a lotus with a background of mountains and surmounted by atomic structure.
